To promote the advancement of people with a learning disability and to provide support for their families, friends and carers enabling those with a learning disability to live as full a life as possible and achieve fuller integration within the community.

Increase public awareness of the abilities and needs of people with learning disabilities and the problems and needs of their families and carers.

Provide up to date information by way of newsletters, assist/provide recreation and leisure facilities via the Gateway Club, Daybreak Scheme, Adult Adventurers, CMYC and other facilities as required.
