Small Fundraising Projects 2010

Please help Chelmsford Mencap meet their expenses by contributing towards this essential cost. Here are a few examples:

Project : To support the costs and activities of our part-time helpers

 4x   Manager     @    £1,800pa
 63x Support Worker  @ £640pa
 4x Deputy Manager  @ £800pa

Club Overheads

As Chelmsford Mencap is currently unable to house all our activities under one roof the hiring of different venues amount to a significant sum every year.

Project : To support club venue and office hire overheads        £10,350

Media and Advertising

To ensure as many of our potential family clients are made aware of what Chelmsford Mencap can provide, and to enable potential donors and supporters to be as informed as possible, the Charity needs to invest in an ongoing PR campaign and regularly update its promotional material and web site. Contributions towards the following are sought:

Projects:   Promotional materials     £8,000

 Office equipment

Much of the office equipment is old and does not meet modern standards. A programme of phased replacement is necessary at an average of £300 per office item.

Project Cost :        £5,000
