Watch a professional catwalk Fashion Show hosted by the Wardrobe Mistress featuring all the top High Street brands with the opportunity to browse, try on and puchase items with a generous discount, clothes from sizes 10-18.  Tickets cost £5.00 per person and includes a free glass of wine.

A one off Plain & Pearly special champage cabaret given by genuine Pearly Kings and Queens.  Tickets cost £15.00 per person and includes one free glass of bubbly and a filling two course meal (main and desert).  This promises to be a night to remember packed with fun, music and lots of laughter!

Essex v Lancashire. 

We have VIP use of our usual prime under cover seats.  Tickets usually cost £19 per person – we are selling for just £5 each to members and £10 each to non members with lunch included!  Plus if we are lucky a chance to meet the players for photos and autographs!

Drinks (soft and alcoholic) will be sold separately.  A raffle will also take place on the day at a cost of £1 per strip.

We have teamed up with Radoni Indian Restaurant and are selling tickets for an ‘All you can eat buffet’ at a cost of £12.50 per head (drinks not included).  A raffle will also take place on the night, tickets £1 per strip.

10.30am – 12pm - Registration, bacon roll, coffee or tea

11.30am - Rolling start for 18 hole golf tournament.  Beverages may be purchased on the course at the half way mark

4pm – 5pm - Bar open

5pm – 6.30-pm - Rolling two course carvery (beef and turkey) followed by coffee

7pm - Awards Ceremony, Raffle and Auction

Entry Tickets cost just £5.00 and includes one glass of wine and a pudding (profiterole’s, trifle or fruit tart).

All treatments cost £5 each and last 15 minutes, payments to be made direct to the therapists on the night.  Therapists will contact you direct to arrange your booking(s).

One More Step … 

Gateway Dance Group 2008

The 10th Annual Service for people with Learning Disabilities will take place in Chelmsford Cathedral on Sunday October 4^th commencing at 2.30 pm, and Chelmsford Mencap would like to warmly invite you, your family and friends to celebrate our 10^th anniversary with us.

This year’s programme is based on the theme of “One More Step” and, as usual, will contain a variety of groups of learning disabled members from all over Essex.

The service will last about 90 minutes and will again be compered by Liz Mullen of Garrison Radio.  Afterwards light refreshments will be available in the Chapter House next to the Cathedral.

 We do hope you will be able to attend this very special event.  Unfortunately we will not be able to reserve seats for the general congregation this year but if you would like to discuss particular seating arrangements or have any other queries, please feel free to contact Sabine Nussey on 01245 – 351161.
